Skye Lannon is a professional drummer and teacher in Gerstle Park, San Rafael.
About
Skye started playing drums at age 6. By age 10, he had acquired a cymbal endorsement and was gigging regularly with various rock and jazz bands. His band was awarded the Bay Area Creative Youth Foundation Presidential Merit Award (the highest honor) for Song Composition in 2021. In 2023, his album “Vanishing” by Nyte Skye was released on Sonic Ritual Records. Now he tours with his band, attends high school at Marin School of the Arts, and is busy teaching, playing gigs and producing with Nyte Skye and his new band Future Ex Wife.
Teaching
Skye is currently accepting students of all levels, age 7 and up. His rate is $40/half hour, $60/hour. He teaches from his soundproof studio at home, where he has a two drum kits set up facing each other, allowing for a really fun way to learn quickly and effortlessly.
Recording
Skye is also available for session recording and can add drums to your song. He is very comfortable playing to a click track and can provide a full, professional drum track for any style of music. He also records bands in his attic studio and is happy to help you with recording your project. Reach out for rates.
